Now that I can use more than 140 characters, let me tell you a little about myself.
For starters, I am a business owner. (You can check out my “Services” page to get a better idea of what I do.) Through Advantage Online Solutions, I provide various services as an Online Business Strategist, Virtual Assistant, Social Media Manager or whatever else you want to call me. Its my goal and my pleasure to help businesses, whether they exist online or offline, establish and build their presence on the web. I started my business in June 2008 and I absolutely love what I do. I have some wonderful clients and I’ve connected with some great people. I design blogs and custom graphics too. (I’m also in the process of developing a series of business guides for the Rock Star Biz Network!)
Speaking of marketing, I’ve also established a bit of a reputation as “PR chick” for indie and unsigned bands, operating as Cherry Bomb Promo which combines my knowledge and experience with Social Media and my passion for supporting the local creative community.
I’m a social media junkie. I love networking online, both professionally and personally. In addition to Twitter, you can find me on Facebook and Linked In.
I also do some freelance writing. I’ve written articles on topics such as custody and co-parenting, mental health, and blogging for profit under my own name and as a ghostwriter. I’ve contributed to both the blog and podcast at Profitable Mommy Blogging and I have also written articles and guest posts about subjects such as co-parenting and mental health and wellness.
And in case you couldn’t tell from all of that, yes, I am also a Mom. I’m a single mom to 3 kids and I have a grandbaby too. Now its not all about being a mom and I’m still not sure how I feel about being labeled a “Mommy blogger” because I blog about other stuff like politics, movies, religion and product reviews. It is what it is…no matter what you label me! (Update: I’ve moved my blog to The Art of Sanity, partly to escape the “Mom blogger” label.)
