If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen me using the hashtag #wahmwish and wondered “Huh? What’s a wahm wish?”
Well, here’s the short version. Kelly McCausey, another WAHM I admire, has been working with others to grant holiday wishes for other work at home moms for services or products to help them grow their business. If you visit WAHM Talk Radio, you can see where it all started.
Just a few days into it, it has been a great success but there’s still more to come. Here’s just a few examples of wishes that have been granted so far:
- Melissa was given a one year subscription to WAHM Cart by Regina Baker, the woman behind WAHM Cart
- LaTara asked for a membership to Jimmy Brown’s Membernaire program and she got one
- LaTara also granted a wish and will be doing some PLR rewrites for Wendy
- Stephanie wished for a web camera and Rae Hoffman (@sugarrae) is sending Stephanie the same camera Rae uses, a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000
- Carrie Wilkerson, The Barefoot Executive, donated a one year membership to her program to Kelly
- And my friend Michael Martine of Remarkablogger will be providing his blog consulting services to Abby
Now, I may be a little biased here, but my favorite WAHM Wish so far is one granted by Alice Seba, the Internet Marketing Sweetie. Alice is sending one very lucky (and grateful!!) work at home mom a video camera, RCA EZ300HD Small Wonder High Definition Digital Camcorder (Black)
And, of course, I wanted to do my part to help out another WAHM so I’m going to be doing a blog makeover for my friend Diane.
